A House for My Name – Book Review

Comments Off on A House for My Name – Book Review

A great overview of the Old Testament in narrative form.  Dr. Leithart pulls together many of the pervasive biblical themes that we may miss if we read the Old Testament too slowly.  Discusses themes common to the OT and reveals how Christ is found throughout.  Review questions in each section reinforce and generate discussions.

The 6th Grade Plan uses this book as the core bible curriculum.  Your student should read a section each week (typically 7-10 pages) and answer the Review Questions at the end of the section.  Couple this with the Holman Bible Atlas to give the student a grasp of the people, places, and events of the Old Testament.

Suitable for middle schoolers, high-schoolers, and certainly adults.
